Digital Caricatures





caricature is a representation of a person that is exaggerated for comic effect.            

  How to make a caricature:

Step #1: Find a high resolution photograph of a
   well-known person on the web. These can
   be celebrities, sports or political figures.
Step #2: Make a caricature of this person using
   Photoshop to alter their features (i.e. the liquefy tool).
Step #3: Change the background of your photograph to complete the comic affect and add some objects to your character too.
Step #4: Submit your digital caricature as a .psd file AND as a .jpeg to mediaartshsm@gmail.com


Your assignment is marked on:


Does your manipulated image fit the definition of a caricature? Is it exaggerated? Is it comedic?
